In an interview today, Chelsea star Wesley Fofana responded to the question of which of his teammates is more talented than PSG star Kylian Mbappe by saying,
“Mudryk is a carbon copy of Mbappe,” Lucescu told Emanuel Rosu, a reporter, in January, ahead of the switch. “It will be fantastic to see him perform at a higher level than he is now. His qualities and perspectives are unarguable.”
According to reports, Fofana faced the 24-year-old while playing for French club Saint-Etienne, where he was tasked with dealing with the forward. They haven’t played in a while, but reports suggest that Fofana may be called up to the France senior squad.
With this, he may be able to reassess the forward’s pace after claiming one of his Chelsea teammates is faster. That was January signing Mykhailo Mudryk, who came from Shakhtar Donetsk for a massive £88.5 million fee and showed plenty of promise early on.

When he stated that he would have the fastest pace, the host asked Fofana if Mudryk was the fastest player he had faced.
“Yeah,” said the former Leicester City player, before Benoit Badiashile retorted, “And Mbappe?” Fofana appeared adamant, responding with: “Mbappe is undeniably gifted. It’s completed.”
