Todd Boehly, owner of Chelsea, is ‘obsessed’ with signing England World Cup star Jude Bellingham.

With his eye-catching displays for the Three Lions in Qatar, the 19-year-old has cemented his reputation as one of the most exciting teenage talents in world football.

Last night, Bellingham was at the heart of England’s engine room as Gareth Southgate’s side powered to a 3-0 win over Wales, ensuring their passage to the last 16 as Group B winners.

Borussia Dortmund is hesitant to sell their prize asset in January, but they have a history of parting ways with their top talent for large sums of money, with Manchester City goal machine and Bellingham’s former teammate Erling Haaland being the most recent example.

The Bundesliga club is worth £150 million to the former Birmingham City youngster, and according to The Sun, Bohely will pay whatever it takes to beat Manchester United, Liverpool, and Real Madrid to his signature.

EPL: Eden Hazard in shock return to Chelsea, Reason why

Chelsea replaced Thomas Tuchel with Graham Potter earlier this season, and the former Brighton manager is expected to oversee a massive squad rebuild.

Despite other concerns, most notably at center forward, Boehly has identified Bellingham as a player on whom Potter can build a team.
