On June 11, a former Premier League (PSL) coach was shot and died. Mike Lukhubene, a former Chippa United and Royal AM coach, was shot in Cape Town on Sunday afternoon following an ugly confrontation during the Coke Cup event.
Lukhubene is no new to the South African football scene, having previously played for Chippa United and Royal AM in the dstv Premiership.
The coach also made a reputation for himself by winning the ABC Motsepe League with Steenberg and Zizwe.
According to reports, a gun incident occurred at the Coke Cup involving two individuals, one of them was the coach, Lukhubene, after a match in which his team.
According to reports, both males were certified deceased at the site.
