Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been told what could end his hopes for winning both the Premier League and Champions League titles this season. City is the favorite club to win the PL title and they are among the few clubs that are considered to win UCL after signing Haaland last summer.
And according to Manchester Evening News, former Arsenal star Ian Wright has told Guardiola that his defense is weak. He claims that City’s backline can’t cope with an elite attack which could cost the Etihad club this term. According to Wright, City can not play offensively when playing against a good team with top forwards.
And with Guardiola eyeing UCL which possesses elite teams and players, it will be difficult for him to get the results he wants in the elite competition if Wright’s words are to go by.

The city is second on the Premier League table four points behind League toppers Arsenal. And ours is to wait and see what happens in the coming fixtures as we expect the Etihad side to bounce back.
