Kaizer Chiefs are apparently looking to sell several of its players, including Burundian attacker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana, who joined with high hopes at the start of the season.

He’s mostly been used as a sub, and several fans booed him after his dismal performance against Richards Bay. Bimenyimana, as a foreigner, provides a position in the Chiefs’ lineup, and it remains to be seen whether the club will let him go too soon.

Rui Frois, the player’s representative, has previously voiced concern about the striker’s performance being hampered by pressure and is working to ensure that he has the appropriate assistance. Meanwhile, after a frustrating injury setback, defender Eric Mathoho is also set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Mathoho hasn’t played much this season, which is surprising given his 11-year tenure with Chiefs since signing from Bloemfontein Celtic in 2012. The Chiefs still have two league games left against SuperSport United and Cape Town City FC.
