Chelsea goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy and his Chelsea team suffered another big defeat at Stamford Bridge against Arsenal on Wednesday night. The Senegalese goalkeeper started in goal as Chelsea were beaten 2-4 at the Bridge.
Nketia opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 13 minutes following a defensive error from Christensen, but Timo Werner responded well by scoring the equalizer for the Blues just 4 minutes later.
Arsenal went on to score their second goal in the 27 minutes before Azpiliqueta leveled the scoreline for the Blues and they ended 2-2 at halftime. But Arsenal added more two goals in the second half to secure a comfortable win at Stamford Bridge.
Nevertheless, Mendy failed to make any save in the game as Arsenal scored from all their shots on target, and after the game, football fans have tagged him as the “most overrated goalkeeper in the world”.

Some fans have also suggested that he needs to be rested for a while to allow him to get back to his best form following his poor form since returning from the AFCON competition.
Mendy has been very poor in the past months, he has conceded 8 goals in their last two home games in the Premier League, but the Chelsea defense has been poor as well, it’s unlikely that Tuchel will drop him in favor of Kepa in their next game.
