Pochettino stated at his unveiling on Friday:

We talked with Levi and Noni yesterday. Noni from Tottenham’s Under-18s is one I know. Of course, I had no idea who Levi was, so I introduced myself. I gave them the best of luck for tomorrow.

‘It’s true that it’s difficult for me because the final pits Spain against England. I wish them all the best. We’re waiting for them to join the team; I believe they’ll join us the day we fly to America.’
