Pep Guardiola is set to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer, according to El Nacional.
Manchester City are willing to pay €170 million to beat Chelsea to the transfer of the 19-year-old midfielder, according to the report. The midfielder is also being pursued by Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
According to reports in Germany, Borussia Dortmund will make one final big-money offer to Bellingham in order to convince him to stay at the club this summer.
Borussia Dortmund, according to Bild, are willing to offer Bellingham a contract extension worth £13.25 million per year.
Bellingham would become the highest-paid player in the club’s history if Borussia Dortmund accepted his offer.
Meanwhile, Bellingham’s contract will expire in the summer of 2025. Borussia Dortmund is still interested in extending his contract until 2026.
