Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has spoken on Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz’s form and their turnaround at Stamford bridge.
Tuchel said credit should be given to the duo for their sacrifices for the club.
The German Born football manager noted that “Christian Pulisic was in the same situation as Kai Havertz. Both of them took the responsibility for the turnaround, so it is their responsibility, and they deserve the credit. They did amazing and you can see it on the pitch.”
He further elaborated,
“If the players step up their responsibility daily and fight heavily for it and accept no excuses for themselves, and dig into the situation and dig their way out, then they will have our full support.”
The former PSG coach also said, “Once this happens, It is of course sometimes a give and take, and then a positive cycle of improvement and support and you get the positive feedback and that is where Christian is at the moment.”
He said,
“It is important, Pulisic is decisive and that is what we demand at the same time. We will keep on pushing them.”

Speaking on the style of play and performances of the duo of Mason Mount and Kai Havertz, Thomas Tuchel said,
“Yes, it is incredible their experience at such a young age. There is no substitute for it. It is the best because you can grow so much with these experiences.”
He explained that;
“There are many ways to grow, but this is accelerating the process of their development and it is good to see that they are ready to take responsibility and step up. It is so good to have them.”
