Brighton have indicated an interest in seeing Chelsea include centre-back Levi Colwill in any deal for Moises Caicedo, but the Blues have made it very clear that they are not interested.
Moises Caicedo, Colwill shone on loan at Brighton last season, and the Seagulls are one of several clubs interested in his availability this summer, including Liverpool and Manchester City, but Chelsea’s stance has always been the same.
Moises Caicedo has admitted his desire to join Chelsea, saying; he “can’t say no” to the Stamford Bridge club, which he describes as “a very large, historic, and beautiful team.”
Moises Caicedo had attempted to push his way out of the south coast of England to join Arsenal in January 2023, but the move fell through, and Caicedo said that not joining Arsenal was “tough.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with La Cancha Con Majo, Moises Caicedo stated that Chelsea is a large squad and that London is a great city.
Moises Caicedo simply cannot refuse Chelsea!
“It’s a big team, that’s true!” he stated. A very historic squad, and I can’t say no to such a large, historic, and gorgeous team. The city is also lovely.”
Chelsea, on the other hand, would not appear to encounter the same hurdles in talks with Caicedo, who admitted he would be unable to turn the Blues down this summer.
