Chelsea have been linked with high quality players this summer and that includes latest report from Daily Mail on De Jong. The blues are said to be pondering on hijacking. Manchester United player target Frenkie de Jong who is believed to be available for £70m as per Sunsport.
Despite all that Barcelona president Laporta recently has made it clear that Frenkie de Jong is not going to depart Catalans in this summer. This is despite reported transfer talks between the red devils and Laliga giants.
Meanwhile Chelsea have two players who Barcelona are still in huge interest of and that may work to Todd Boehly consortium advantage. According to Sunsport the Xavi’s side want Cesar in this summer and Marcos Alonso.
Chelsea captain, Cesar had his contract expire this summer but has since activated a one-year extension. As well as Alonso has one-year left in his current contract and Chelsea fear losing him for free next season.
That’s why according to The Mirror, Todd Boehly has arrived this week at Barcelona to try hijack Manchester United deal.
To sign Frenkie de Jong in a possible swap deal involving Alonso and or Cesar. As the pair are believed to have already agreed personal terms with Barcelona as per same publication.
