Chelsea football club has official confirmed that Todd Boehly led consortium has bought the club from Russian billionaire, Roman Abramovich in a 4.25 Billion pounds deal.
As it is with Roman Abramovich when he bought the club in 2003 to the new owners of Newcastle United, Chelsea’s new owners are expected to make some huge investment in the transfer window by signing some high profile players.
Some of the high profile players that the new owners of Chelsea FC could sign in the summer are:
1. Erling Haaland: the Borussia Dortmund striker has been subject of speculation over the past months with several clubs trying to sign him. Chelsea have been lacking in the striking department with Lukaku and Werner performing poorly. Getting the signature of the Norwegian will be a huge relief to Chelsea fans.
2. Paul Pogba: the French midfielder is one of the best midfielder in the world at the moment. His contract at Manchester United is set to expire at the summer. So getting the former Manchester United player will be a huge catch for the new regime at Chelsea.
