According to the UK Telegraph, Chelsea manager Graham Potter is facing a two-game losing streak that could lead to his dismissal.
After losing 2-0 to Tottenham last weekend, the Blues have only won twice in their last 15 games.
The club’s owners and senior players are becoming increasingly concerned about the club’s poor form.
They are believed to be concerned about Potter’s ability to turn things around.
The pressure on new signings has also surprised them, while those who have been left out of matchday squads are becoming irritated.
Todd Boehly, a Chelsea co-owner, attended the Tottenham game and will be joined by his fellow controlling co-owner Behdad Eghbali for the next two games against Leeds and Borussia Dortmund, both of which are at home.
Failure to win either of the next two matches is expected to create a situation in which the club and players believe there is no way back.
