Chelsea have been active in making acquisitions in recent weeks after spending the early part of the summer transfer season parting company with some of their players. Over the following month, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are anticipated to make a couple more additions. And one player they have recently been linked with is also rumored to be a Real Madrid target.
Real Madrid are in desperate need of a striker at the moment. So much so that Carlo Ancelotti switched formations in preseason to a 4-4-2 with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, two natural wingers, playing up front.
To say the least, this is not ideal. It is unclear whether Real Madrid will recruit a striker in the coming month. Dusan Vlahovic is one player with whom they have been associated.
However, a move to the Santiago Bernabeu does not appear to be on the cards for the Serbian. According to Romeo Agresti of Forza Juventus, the only conceivable destination for Vlahovic at the moment is Chelsea.
Chelsea are the favorites to sign a Real Madrid target this summer.
Vlahovic’s name has recently been linked with a move to Chelsea. Juventus is thought to be searching for Romelu Lukaku plus a transfer price in order to part ways with the Serbian international striker.

The two clubs have not yet struck an agreement. Let’s see what happens in the future weeks.
Despite their struggles in front of goal last season, Chelsea may no longer require a striker. Nicolas Jackson has been a revelation for the Blues in preseason and appears to be ready to lead the line. Christopher Nkunku is also capable of playing there. Armando Broja is also a member of the club, while David Datro Fofana is now on loan at Union Berlin.
