Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant has been named the new coach of Zambia’s national team by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ).

The former Chelsea and Ghana manager has agreed to take over as manager of Zambia on a two-year contract.

I was looking for a new challenge, which is why I chose Zambia,” Grant explained.

“I came here because of the challenge and I hope when I leave here I will look around and say we did a good job and made a good foundation for the future.

“I believe Zambia has potential, and we have set goals for ourselves.”
