Chelsea and Man City will face one another in the EFL Cup tonight at the Etihad Stadium and based on current form the Cityzens are clearly seen as favorites to win the game. But Chelsea could eventually surprise fans and beat Man City tonight if Graham Potter gets his starting lineup and game strategy right. I also don’t think Aubameyang might start today’s game based on his previous performances against Brighton and Hove Albion and Arsenal.
If Graham Potter must win tonight’s game, he must focus on his side’s attack as they can’t obviously sit back and defend against a team like Man City. With Zakaria making a return after that slight injury in the Champions League, the Swiss International could play a vital role in the Blues’ potential win tonight.
Well, is Chelsea’s preferred lineup for tonight’s game ;
Goalkeeper: Edouard Mendy.
Defenders: Marc Cucurella, Kalidou Koulibaly, Trevor Chalobah and Cesar Azpilicueta.
Midfielders: Kovacic, Zakaria, and Gallagher.
Forwards: Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, and Armando Borja.
