Despite being injured, Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic is close to leaving the club, according to media outlet Marca.
According to the report, Italian champions AC Milan have begun talks with the 24-year-old American international.
Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, is currently out with a knee injury sustained in the Premier League loss to Manchester City earlier this month.
This season, the 24-year-old has made 21 appearances for Chelsea, but only eight of them have been starts.
When the summer arrives, Pulisic will have 12 months left on his Chelsea contract, and the Blues are reportedly open to selling the 24-year-old.
With the arrivals of Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, and Mykhailo Mudryk, the competition for attacking positions at Chelsea has increased. Pulisic reportedly believes he will play even fewer minutes under Graham Potter once the entire squad returns to full strength.
