Chelsea manager Graham Potter has provided the most recent information on Thiago Silva, Edouard Mendy, N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount, Reece James, and Cesar Azpilicueta ahead of Saturday’s Premier League match against Leeds United.
“Thiago will be around that time, not sure exactly,” Potter said in his pre-match press conference on Friday. Mendy is progressing. Today was N’Golo’s first full session, but he still needs time.
“Mason has been suffering from a lower abdomen problem, and tomorrow is too soon for him.
“Reece has a tightness in his hamstring; we are assessing him, but he is doubtful for tomorrow as well. Azpi has made progress, but he is still not through protocols after such a severe head injury.”
The match will kick off at 4 p.m. at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea fans hoping to avoid relegation this season.
