Chelsea supporters are pleased with Julian Alvarez’s performance at the World Cup. The 22-year-old has two goals in four games for Argentina, including a game-winning goal in Argentina’s 2-1 Round of 16 victory over Australia.
Chelsea fans are questioning the Blues’ scouts after Man City paid River Plate €17 million for Alvarez.
“How did we let Man City sign Haaland and Alvarez for £69 million, just £7 million more than Marc Cucurella cost Chelsea?” Doughie Critchley wonders.
