Chelsea remain in contact with Brighton over the summer transfer of Moises Caicedo, with Mauricio Pochettino eager to complete the deal.
Moises Caicedo with Mauricio Pochettino anxious to complete the summer transfer as Chelsea remain in direct touch with Brighton over the sale of Moises Caicedo.
Is the pursuit coming to light? Yes or No?, Mauricio Pochettino, on the other hand, wants the Blues to sign the midfielder before he takes the group to the United States for a pre-season tour that begins on July 19.
Following the completion and confirmation of various transfers by the Chelsea FC board last week, getting Caicedo to the club has been the key focus for the last week, but little progress appears to have been made.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, described why this move is different from most.
“The only thing I can say is that there are negotiations,” he stated on his YouTube channel, Mark Goldbridge That’s Football. “Chelsea and Brighton have spoken, and they will speak again this week to discuss Moises Caicedo.”
“As I previously mentioned, this is a distinct style of negotiation in which there is no daily official bid followed by an official answer. They are in direct contact, which is an unusual sort of communication. It appears to be very peaceful, yet it is not. They’re talking, so Caicedo will have new conversations this week.
“Then it really depends on Brighton, because the player obviously wants to go, and Chelsea is ready to welcome him as soon as possible, but they are waiting for Brighton to give the green light under the right conditions.”
