The head coach of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Brazil midfielder Fabinho will not be fit to play in the FA Cup final on Saturday at Wembley. This news provides Chelsea with a boost heading into the game.
After sustaining a muscular injury in the first half of Tuesday’s match against Aston Villa at Villa Park, the Brazilian player was subbed off during Liverpool’s 2-1 triumph over Steven Gerrard’s side.

“I don’t know how awful it is,” he said. After his team’s victory, which kept their chances of winning the Premier League title alive, Klopp stated that his player “felt the muscle,” but not “too much.”

Since then, Fabinho has had a scan done on the injury, and although it isn’t expected to keep the 28-year-old out for the rest of the season, The German tactician has come to terms with the fact that the player won’t be able to feature in Saturday’s cup final at Wembley.
