Chelsea have confirmed their squad list for the 2023/24 Premier League season, with Mauricio Pochettino submitting his squad ahead of the weekend’s visit to AFC Bournemouth. The 20 clubs in England’s top divisions are required to submit an update squad by September 19.
The Blues have named summer signings Moises Caicedo, Axel Disasi, Nicolas Jackson, Robert Sanchez, Christopher Nkunku, and Djordje Petrovic, but only 20 players were submitted from an available 25.
Cole Palmer, Romeo Lavia, Levi Colwill, Ian Maatsen, Malo Gusto, Noni Madueke, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Carney Chukwuemeka were all left out due to being aged 21 or under.

Premier League rules state that under-21 players are eligible over and above the limit of 25 players per squad, and each player is assigned a squad number. Armando Broja, Chukwuemeka, Lewis Hall, and Maatsen all qualified as Under-21 players last season, but Broja is now 22 and will need to be registered.
