Following several days of transfer links, Thomas Tuchel’s side Chelsea are now understood to have finally managed to secure the signature of former Arsenal star striker and Barcelona superstar, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
According to the latest reports from Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have come into a €14million agreement with the Blaugrana regarding the Gabonese international, a deal that will also see Spanish left-back, Marcos Alonso move to the other direction.
Aubameyang, 33 had a fantastic spell with Arsenal following his move to the Emirates Stadium from Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund but a reported fallout with manager.
Mikel Arteta saw his contract terminated back in January and hence, his move to the Nou Camp.
Meanwhile, in his 18 appearances for the Xavi Hernandez’s side, the promising goalscorer has managed to bag 11 goals besides clinching several assists to his name and thus his move to the Stamford Bridge will no doubt be a huge boost for the West London club.
