Milan’s chiefs, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, met the Chelsea player and his entourage at a hotel in London for a’very interesting’ market meeting.

Since he ‘intends to leave’ the Blues in the summer, the Croatia international has offered himself to the Serie A side. The midfielder spent two years with Inter Milan and would welcome a return to the Italian capital.

Maldini and Massara listened intently to the 28-year-old and sensed his eagerness to reach the San Siro. It is not impossible for Milan to sign him if the technical and financial conditions are met.

His contract with Real Madrid expires in 2024, and he currently earns €3.2 million net per year. If Milan wanted to sign Kovai, they wouldn’t have to spend a lot of money in the summer.
